If you’re a gamer, you probably noticed all the new stuff being announces at the Electronic Entertainment Expo (E3) in Los Angeles. I’m super excited, especially about all the announcements from Sony and Nintendo.
Lots of people are excited for different consoles and their respective games, LIKE THE 3DS. So here’s your chance to win one! The winner will receive a red 3DS XL system (like new, used only a few times) with its original box, charger, manuals, and AR cards. Plus, the two latest killer apps for the 3DS, Fire Emblem: Awakening and Animal Crossing: New Leaf!

But this fucking disgusts me right here. It makes me want to say, fuck this country and its racism and double standards.
Those comments make me wanna puke. For them it’s not even really about the hijab being an American flag. That was just an excuse to speak up. It’s mostly about the fact that she’s a Muslim woman existing at all.
SIGH.
Am I the only one who didn’t realize that her hijab was American flag patterned at first? I thought this was just people being crazy Islamophobes hating her for being a Muslim woman. Some people really fucking disgust me. Guess what, you can be a Muslim and a patriotic American. The two are not mutually exclusive. And the fact that people think they are just makes me sick. Ugh.

Members of Congress are living off food stamps for a week to protest Republican cuts. It’s a challenge for them, but GOP cuts would hurt millions of everyday Americans.
Why does this not have more publicity. This needs it!
Signal boosting this A) because it deserves to be seen by more people, and b) because I appreciate some members of Congress are actually willing to see what it’s like living on food stamps in order to make their point about how horrifying cutting food stamps would be.
News flash, regressives: people on food stamps do not load up on Snickers bars and filet mignon. They’re limited in what they can buy, and oftentimes, it’s not enough to get by on. Go on thinking these are entitlements that let minorities live lives of luxury, comfortable in the knowledge that you’ll never go hungry.
You privileged, elitist pricks.

Haven’t posted this on tumblr yet! I actually drew this 3 months ago but never got around to putting it up since it was so big vuv;; I’ve always wanted to make comics about how video games affected me as a kid. So I did. Except only with animal crossing since that game gave me a hell of a good time and got me through some lows. It was hard cutting out all the differen’t parts I wanted to include. Most of the images are stories I would make up in my mind and role play them in secret.

Gwendoline Christie is the actress for Brienne of Tarth in Game of Thrones. She stands at 6 feet 3 inches tall and took swordfighting, horseriding, and stagefighting lessons for her part, as well as gaining 14 pounds of muscle, to accurately portray Brienne. (x)
She was also terrified of cutting her hair because she’d spent her life believing it was one of the only things that would make people see her as feminine despite her height. In an interview with TV Guide she said:
I struggled for a long time with [cutting] my hair, but then I’m grateful for the opportunity to realize that femininity doesn’t have to come from hair or any of those traditional female archetypes of appearance, So, that’s been exciting actually. I can’t speak with any kind of authority whatsoever because I’m just an actor and I only have my opinions, but I do think it’s really refreshing to have a woman depicted on a mainstream TV show that doesn’t obey typical aesthetics of females and the way they have been portrayed in the past. And I’m really excited to be portraying one of those women. And I hope that her popularity signals a greater expansion of people’s views about men and women and that gender types can be more flexible.
